How do I choose the rigDimensional Adaptations & Custom Sizesht chandelier size?

Some spaces require more careful sizing than a standard fixture configuration can provide. Ceiling height, room width, furniture placement, walking clearance, canopy position, and visual scale can all affect whether a fixture feels balanced once installed.

For selected fixtures, custom dimension support may be available. This may include reviewing drop length, suspension height, canopy placement, rod or chain length, fixture scale, or other size-related details depending on the product design and structural limitations.

Not every fixture can be resized or structurally modified. Some designs must remain within their original proportions for stability, wiring layout, finish consistency, packaging safety, or installation requirements. Before any custom size request is approved, we review the fixture type, requested change, room conditions, and production feasibility.

To help us review the request accurately, please provide available room measurements, ceiling height, fixture placement, floor plan, installation photos, or contractor notes when possible. For staircases, double-height entryways, kitchen islands, dining rooms, or vaulted ceilings, these details are especially important.

Once the request is reviewed, we can confirm whether a custom size is possible and provide an estimated timeline, pricing adjustment, and production requirements before the order moves forward.

Specific Finishes & Material Matching

Finish coordination can be important when a fixture needs to work with existing cabinet hardware, door handles, faucets, furniture frames, or other metal details in the room.

For selected fixtures, finish-related support may be available. This can include reviewing available finish options, comparing warm or cool metal tones, checking whether a fixture can work with brass, bronze, black, nickel, painted, or other interior hardware directions, and confirming whether a special finish request can be considered.

Not every fixture can be produced in a custom finish. Some designs have fixed surface treatments, material limitations, production requirements, or finish consistency concerns that must be maintained. Before approving any finish-related request, we review the fixture type, requested tone, existing product finish, production feasibility, and whether the result can be handled consistently.

If you are trying to match an existing finish, please provide reference photos, hardware samples, room images, finish names, or project notes whenever possible. Natural light, bulb temperature, wall color, and surrounding materials can all affect how a finish appears once installed.

Custom finish requests may require additional review time, production time, and pricing adjustments. Once reviewed, we can confirm whether the requested direction is available for the selected fixture and provide the next steps before the order moves forward.

You may submit your finish references through our Finish Customization Portal.

Suspension Systems & Cord Lengths

The right suspension length can change both the function and the visual balance of a fixture. This is especially important for dining tables, kitchen islands, staircases, double-height entryways, vaulted ceilings, and great rooms where ceiling height and sightlines affect the final installation.

For selected fixtures, suspension-related support may be available before production or fulfillment. This may include reviewing cord length, chain drop, rod length, canopy position, ceiling height, fixture clearance, or other installation-related details depending on the product design.

Not every fixture can support every suspension adjustment. Some designs have fixed wiring lengths, structural limits, rod configurations, canopy requirements, or packaging constraints that must be maintained for safe installation and consistent product quality. Before any suspension request is approved, we review the selected fixture, requested drop length, ceiling type, and installation conditions.

If you are ordering for a double-height space, vaulted ceiling, sloped ceiling, staircase, or kitchen island, please provide measurements before the order moves forward. Helpful details include ceiling height, desired hanging height, room photos, fixture placement, table or island dimensions, and any contractor or electrician notes.

All electrical installation should be completed by a licensed electrician. Final adjustments, wiring, mounting, and ceiling compatibility should be reviewed on site according to local electrical requirements.

Please provide your measurements through our Suspension Length Request.
