Secure Transit & Damage Replacements

Q: How are high-value fixtures shipped, and what if something is damaged upon delivery?
A: Every WREALIGHT fixture is secured with heavy-duty protective materials explicitly designed to withstand long-distance, direct-to-door transit. We recognize the strict timelines of home renovations. With our structured transit coverage, if an item arrives with verified damage, we bypass standard consumer queues to expedite specific replacement parts directly to your residence. We assume full accountability for the logistics, keeping your electrician's installation schedule strictly on track.

Engineered Protective Crating

Lighting requires more than a standard shipping box. Each fixture is packed as a fragile architectural element, with protective materials selected around its shape, finish, glass components, and installation hardware.

Our packaging process may include reinforced outer crating, shock-absorbing layers, corner protection, precision-cut foam interiors, and separated compartments for delicate parts such as glass shades, crystal details, metal arms, canopies, rods, chains, and mounting accessories. The goal is to keep each component stable inside the package, reduce movement during long-distance transit, and help protect visible finishes from pressure, friction, and impact.

For larger or more delicate fixtures, the packaging structure is planned around the fixture itself rather than treated as a one-size-fits-all box. Glass and metal components are separated where needed, hardware is secured to avoid scratching, and fragile sections are supported with fitted protection so the fixture can travel with a lower risk of damage.

We also encourage customers to keep the outer box, interior packaging, product photos, and order information after delivery. If an issue occurs during transit, these details help us review the situation more accurately and assist with the next step.

Fulfillment & Transit Timeframes

Lighting orders often need to work around renovation schedules, contractor availability, electrician appointments, and planned installation dates. Because many fixtures include glass, metal finishes, hand-finished details, or project-specific configuration needs, we treat fulfillment as part of the order review process rather than a simple warehouse dispatch.

For most standard orders, preparation and processing typically require 7–10 business days before shipment. During this stage, we review the order details, confirm the fixture configuration, check key components, secure the required hardware, and prepare the packaging for long-distance transit.

After shipment, transit time depends on the selected shipping method, destination, carrier route, and local delivery conditions. Expedited shipping typically requires 7–10 business days in transit, while standard shipping typically requires 15–25 business days in transit.

For customized lengths, sloped ceiling adjustments, multi-fixture orders, larger fixtures, or project-based requests, preparation may require 10–35 business days depending on the fixture type and requested modifications. These orders should be reviewed before purchase so we can provide a clearer production and delivery expectation.

If your order is connected to a renovation deadline, contractor schedule, move-in date, or planned installation window, please contact us before placing the order. We can help review the timing based on the fixture, quantity, customization needs, and shipping destination.

Structured Shipment Visibility

Once your fixture has been dispatched, we will provide the available tracking information so you can follow the shipment through the carrier’s delivery process. For lighting orders, visibility matters because installation plans often involve contractors, electricians, renovation timelines, and access to the delivery location.

Tracking details are typically shared by email after the order leaves the shipping facility. Depending on the carrier and destination, updates may include shipment pickup, transit movement, customs or regional handling where applicable, out-for-delivery status, and final delivery confirmation.

Because larger fixtures, fragile glass components, multi-box shipments, or project-based orders may move through different handling stages, tracking updates can vary by carrier. We recommend monitoring the shipment after dispatch and keeping an eye on delivery notices, especially if your installation schedule is already planned.

If your contractor or electrician needs the fixture on-site by a specific date, please allow enough time for processing, transit, and delivery handling before scheduling installation. If a shipment appears delayed, incomplete, or shows an unusual tracking status, contact us with your order number so we can help review the issue.

Direct-to-Door Delivery Protocols

Lighting shipments often involve large boxes, fragile glass components, metal finishes, mounting hardware, and multi-part packaging. For this reason, delivery is handled with attention to both the shipment itself and the condition of the package when it arrives.

Orders are shipped to the residential address, studio, project site, or approved delivery location provided at checkout. Depending on the fixture size, package weight, carrier route, and local delivery conditions, some shipments may arrive in more than one box or require additional handling during the final delivery stage.

When your order arrives, we recommend checking the outer packaging before moving the fixture to the installation area. Look for visible signs of damage such as crushed corners, deep punctures, torn carton seams, water exposure, or unusual impact marks. These details are important because the outer box often provides the first indication of possible transit-related issues.

If visible damage is present, please take clear photos of the outer packaging before opening the box. If possible, keep the packaging materials, shipping label, and all interior protection until the fixture has been fully reviewed. For deliveries that require a signature, you may note visible packaging damage with the carrier when available.

After opening the package, check the fixture, glass shades, hardware, canopy, rods, chains, and other included components before scheduling installation. If anything appears damaged, missing, or inconsistent with the order, contact us with your order number and photos so we can review the issue more accurately.
